INTRODUCTION

  • We at DERCoord OÜ (hereinafter DERCoord, “we”, “us”, “our”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter “PP”) applies to https://dercoord.org website (hereinafter “Website”) and services (hereinafter “Service”) it enables. This PP governs our data collection, processing and usage practices. By starting to use the Website and Service, means that you have read, understood and given consent to the data practices described in this PP. If you do not agree with the data practices described in this PP, you should not use the Website or the Service.
  • We may update this PP from time to time by posting a new version online. You should check this page occasionally to review any changes. If we make any changes, we will notify you by posting the revised PP on our Website. Your continued use of the Website will be subject to the terms of the then-current PP.

1. DEFINITIONS USED IN THIS PP

  • 1.1 Chief Controller/Processor - means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
  • 1.2 Power Inverter – Power Inverter owned by User.
  • 1.3 Router / Router device – DERCoord's customized router device you can connect to your Power Inverter. Sends Power Inverter data to DERCoord platform and manages inverter configuration. These terms do not cover buying, selling and warranty of the Router device.
  • 1.4 Personal Data – means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
  • 1.5 Principles of processing Personal Data – means current document, which regulates how the Personal Data is being processed within and by DERCoord.
  • 1.6 Processing of Personal Data – means any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data or on sets of Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available etc.
  • 1.7 Third party – means any party who is not the Website/Service user, DERCoord or DERCoord´s employee. Also a natural or legal person, a branch of a foreign company or a state or local government agency who is not:
    • (a) the processor of the Personal Data in question;
    • (b) a data subject;
    • (c) a natural person who processes Personal Data in the subordination of a processor of Personal Data.
  • 1.8 DERCoord - Chief Controller and Processor of Personal Data in a sense what is stated in this PP under the clause 2.
  • 1.9 Google - Processor of Personal Data in a sense what is stated in this PP under clause 6.
  • 1.10 Supabase - Processor of Personal Data in a sense what is stated in this PP under clause 6.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • 2.1 When you visit our Website
    • When you register as user on our Website:
      1. your name, telephone number and email address;
      2. your timezone;
      3. locale;
      4. any additional information you provide;

    2.2 When you register DERCoord Router Device that is connected with your Power Inverter

    • electricity usage information sent by your Power Inverter, including:
      1. production and consumption of electricity;
      2. battery settings and consumption and production;
      3. settings and power production of solar panels;
      4. use of other devices connected to the Power Inverter;
  • 2.3 “Personal Data”
  • This refers to any information that you voluntarily submit to us and what identifies you personally, including information to what is referred under clause 2.1, and other information about yourself or your business. Also see Definitions.
  • 2.4 “Navigational Information”
  • This refers to information about your computer and your visits to Website such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, device usage, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed. Please see the "Navigation Information" section below.

3. INFORMATION WHAT IS COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

  • 3.1 Google Analytics
  • This refers to the free web analytics service that tracks and reports website traffic. Whenever someone visits a website that uses Google Analytics, then Google tracks that visit via the user's IP address in order to determine the user's approximate geographic location.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • 4.1 Compliance with our PP
  • We use the information we collect only in compliance with this PP. Everyone who are using DERCoord services are obligated to comply with this PP.
  • 4.2 We Never Sell Personal Data nor do we share it with third party without your consent
  • We will never sell your Personal Data to any third party or share it with third party without your consent.
  • 4.3 Use of your Personal Data
  • We use your Personal Data to:
    • improve your browsing experience by personalizing the Website and to improve the services (e.g. by language we can display you the content by your own language or weather information from your locale/region etc.);
  • 4.4 Use of Navigational Information
  • We use Navigational Information to operate and improve the Website and the Service. We may also use Navigational Information alone or in combination with Personal Data to provide you with personalized information about DERCoord.
  • 4.5 Use of user feedback
  • We use user feedback to improve the quality of the Service
  • 4.6 External Websites
  • Our Website do not use external websites per se, but there might be external website links inside content provided by users. Also on our Website there are links to our social media sites (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin). We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of these other websites. This PP does not apply to these other websites, which are subject to any privacy and other policies they may have.
  • 5.1 Cookies
  • We use "secure cookies" (see our Cookie policy) to help you manage your session when you visiting our Website and using our Service. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.
  • For example, if you personalize pages on our Website, or register for the Service, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. When you return to the same Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the customized features.
  • You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Service or Website.
  • 5.2 Log files
  • We may collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites using log files that are not associated with your name or other personally identifying information. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by us. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by DERCoord for the operation of the Service, to maintain quality of the Service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Website.

6. WHERE WE STORE AND HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

  • 6.1 Security of your Personal Data
  • We keep the personal data provided by you in a controlled and secure environment, protected from unauthorized access for access, use or disclosure. To ensure the above, we use for data processing and storage Google Cloud Platform services (for more information, read Google Cloud Platform data processing terms here: https://cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum ) and Supabase platform services (for more information, read Supabase's data processing terms here: https://supabase.com/privacy and https://supabase.com/downloads/docs/Supabase+DPA+231211.pdf). We urge you to familiarize yourself with the terms of Google Cloud Platform and Supabase independently, as external platforms data processing and security conditions are not regulated by this document. DERCoord employees have access to personal data and can view personal data in order to resolve technical issues related to the use of the web application and provide customer support services. DERCoord implements appropriate physical, organizational and information technology security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or for unauthorized access and disclosure.

7. OPTING OUT

  • 7.1 Reviewing, Correcting and Removing Your Personal Data
  • If you provide us with your Personal Data, you have the following rights with respect to that information:
    • To review the user information that you have supplied to us.
    • To request that we correct any errors, outdated information, or omissions in user information that you have supplied to us.
    • To request that your user information not be used to contact you.
    • To request that your user information be removed from any solicitation list that we use.
    • To request that your user information be deleted from our records.
    • To opt out of being solicited by DERCoord or third parties.
  • 7.2 Once user is requesting of opting out form using the Service and Website, all the Personal Data regards the user will be deleted permanently from that moment by DERCoord and won´t be recoverable.
  • 7.3 User has a right to turn every time to Supervisory Authority as well as to competent court when his/her rights of processing personal data has been violated.
